Traffic in the last 24hrs was at standstill all through the day as serviced/ loaded trucks could hardly exit Lagos Port Complex/ APMT.
As a result, only 62 trucks were serviced with about 231 transitions (including rail transactions) which is very low as compared to our daily average of 700 trucks.
This greatly impacted our ability to receive more as already serviced/ loaded trucks could not exit.
The situation today was same for the most part of the morning, but we started experiencing a bit of movement at about 10 a.m. which lasted for just about 2hrs.
The issue has been escalated to NPA and other relevant government agencies for an urgent solution.
