Traffic in the last 24hrs was very smooth for most part of the day but we started experiencing traffic gridlock at about 15:15.
As a result, we were able to service 489 trucks with a total of 1385 transaction; 57% of which were import deliveries while the rest were export/empties.
Since yesterday evening, loaded trucks have not been able to not exit the Lagos port complex due to traffic from the community extending into the port.
This situation remained the same for most part of the night.
Currently, there is still minimal movement of traffic outward Lagos port complex, thereby limiting our ability to receive more trucks.
Please find pictures of the current traffic situation.
